Essential, Easy To Learn Spanish – Air Travel

Are you, like me, the sort of person who loves to travel by plane and find airports really exciting? We’re going to make traveling by air a lot more fun by adding several simple Spanish words and phrases to your Spanish vocabulary that will be really helpful when you’re at the airport.

¡Vamos a viajar en avión! – Let’s travel by aeroplane!

Once you’ve reached the airport, you need to go to the check-in desk – el mostrador de facturación – to check-in – la facturación. There you will also check-in your luggage – el registro de equipage, if appropriate. From here, you then go through the security check – el control de seguridad – and these days, un registro personal – a body frisk. After the security checks have been done, you can head for la sala de espera – the departure lounge.

Watching all the aeroplanes landing and taking off at the airport is something I really like doing. To say this is Spanish is so easy:

Me encanta ver los aviones aterrizar y despegar

The Spanish phrase for a runway is una pista de aterrizaje which is normally cut down to just “la pista”.

As soon as your flight – el vuelo – is ready, you can begin boarding the aeroplane. See if you can translate this easy Spanish phrase:

Tenemos que embarcar el avión ahora. ¿Tienes la tarjeta de embarque?

I bet you got it! Embarcar is the Spanish verb “to board” and la tarjeta de embarque is a boarding pass, nice and straightforward agreed? You can then give the flight attendant – el/la auxiliar de vuelo – your boarding pass and enter the cabin – entrar en el avión. Pilots sit in the cockpit – la cabina del avión which is a little bit confusing.

Now it’s time to take up your seat fasten-up the safety belt – el cinturón de seguridad – and prepare for take-off! Taking off is what I enjoy the most because I enjoy feeling the power of the engines – la potencia de los motores – while the plane is heading into the sky.

When the aircraft has landed, you can collect your luggage – recoger el equipaje and make your way through arrivals – llegadas. El desfase horario – jet-lag – is another useful word to add to your Spanish vocabulary so you can describe how you’re feeling after long-haul flights.

You now have a good selection of Spanish phrases sure to come in useful when you’re traveling by air to or from Spanish speaking countries. They’re nice and easy to learn too, and will add depth and color to your Spanish.

As Spanish is one of the most sought after languages, making it easy to learn is becoming a priority for Spanish teachers all around the world. Kids have very small attention spans today and therefore it is necessary to ensure that activities are used to make learning fun so they don’t prefer playing to learning Spanish.

Adults also find it hard learning a new language because they already have their first languages that they are already used to and are comfortable with them. Getting them out of the comfort zone is usually extremely difficult. How do you teach an old dog new tricks you might say.

For this reason, Spanish teachers have come up with a range of activities that can be used to make learning the Spanish language not just easier but more interactive and even more fun. Listed below are quite a few ideas.

The most common activities for learning Spanish are various games that both kids plus grown ups can play. The key goal of these games is ensuring that the student learns Spanish in its entirety and not just the oral language. To make sure this happens, the games have to possess lessons on spelling, grammar besides pronunciation skills.

Commercial games are available for purchase in several book stores and also web stores all over the internet. Spanish instructors have also come up with game ideas which can be more tailored towards the educational abilities of their specific pupils as most students are different. This is easier to undertake when training kids since they’re more drawn to games and possess a better learning ability of new languages as matched against grown ups.

For kids, these learning activities may be included into daily activities for example playing, eating and getting ready to sleep. This can make the kid relate their new language to their every day activities and thus in a more practical way and they will remember their instruction.

For grownup Spanish learners, incorporating the lessons into day to day activities may not be very easy but it has also been achieved. Adults demand a more brain engaging endeavor akin to puzzles and particularly those on the pc because they can do this when at work. Most of these games are available on the web and the majority of them are free and can be accessed by one and all.

According to a person’s learning abilities, different people use different activities to make sure that they enjoy learning Spanish. Students should therefore utilize activities which can be personalized to their precise requirements versus the more popular activities.
